Hi. I belong to the Booker Group in Hove. I have been gone there 2 or 3 years now. If I'm not there it's usually my health keeping me away. I also write reviews for New Book Magazine which I really enjoy and have read many fascinating books and met several new authors I enjoy reading that way. My favourite authors at the moment are Pam Jenoff and Jenny Eclair. I like reading as you can do it anywhere anytime and only need a book to be happily occupied for quite a long time.
My wife started our book group around 4 years ago. At the moment there are eight of us and we meet monthly. We only use books provided by the B & H Library and a big thumbs up to them for maintaining such a good selection for us. My own favourite author is probably Lee Child. The best recent read within the group was Room, with other good titles being Tortilla Curtain, Bel Canto and Life of Pi.
Hi, I'm Claire, a member of the yellow book group at jubilee library. I've been a member less than a year and really enjoy hearing the different views of the book group members. I've always been an avid reader, and practically grew up in my local public library. I particularly like Margaret Atwood, Paul Auster, Haruki Murakami and Nancy Mitford. I'm currently reading Canada by Richard Ford, and the Positron series by Margaret Atwood, both of which I'm really enjoying.
